Defense takes energy.

Offensive sets take energy to make cuts and the extra pass.

This team too content jacking up threes

Just one season, I’d like to have a team that can rise to the occasion in big games...not just a few a season, but every big game. Just one season yet before I die.

I’m thinking we’ll NEVER get it done with Coach Tod Kowalczyk at the helm of our Rockets.

All leads back to coaching. Plays a 7 man rotation all season. We get lazy defensively. We don’t recruit quality big men.

I agree some of this is on the players but year after year we falter in the quarterfinals or semis despite being one of top seeds.

You want to give Kowalcyk a free pass? Fine. Don’t expect an ncaa tourney under his helm

Honestly it’s not like he’s the only coach who hasn’t gotten a Toledo team there. It’s been 40+ years. At some point players have to step up and not play with puckered up ********.

I'm old and retired. I remember the Nichols years. I remember the last time we were there. It's a bucket list thing.

He doesn’t get a free pass. But the players played like this was a game in mid January. No fire. How Litttleson wasn’t involved in the offense was shocking. And the inability to rebound was what cost us the chance to even be competitive. Rebounding is all desire. Rockets lacked it in the biggest games of their lives

The game seemed to be put into Seth's hands from the beginning. He took the first and I think 4 of the first five shots, making one. I can't quite fatham a purpose for the strategy. Ohio played loose, smiling from the get-go. I got a tense impression from ours.

I don't think this one is on the players. Something else happened. But I'm going to remember how really great a season this has been, this isn't my loss. I've nothing but positive to throw out for the team, they were really fun to watch and I'll remember them for a long long time.

Next season, if normal, UT must get quality wins on the road (they won't come to your place) against power 5 conferences. That way if UT finishes number 2 in the conference, they may get a at-large bid.

I think it’s pretty evident as well that Ohio benefitted from the month and a half worth of games they missed.

Straight beat down by the Bobcats tonight from start to finish. Typical Toledo. Played like absolute crap these past two days when it mattered most.

We are a cursed program. 42 f****** years and counting.

Rollins one basket. Had a poor tournament and struggled at the tail end of the season. Not blaming him. Probably just tired playing his first season and getting a lot of minutes. Now he knows what it takes and that should motivate him to hit the weights and be ready next season.

Nice to win 20 games but if you do not win three in March it doesn’t matter
