If someone decent wants them both, Mason is also gone. It would be wise for the staff to recruit like that is going to be the case. I never really loved their signing because the 2 for 1 deal can cut both ways.

I thought we rebounded. I thought we weren't too sloppy. Houston was just awesome and we missed shots we had to make to have a chance.

In the second half we were a total trainwreck. Houston went on a quick burst early and you could just see the wind go out of their sails. They got lazy and sloppy...Houston hit them again and Brannen switched out the entire lineup. The second half was just really bad basketball from UC and a focused, disciplined, red hot Houston team made them pay.
We were fine in the first half. Houston hasn't shot like that all year and most were strongly contested. Completely different than the first time around. It's gonna drive me nuts when Quentin Grimes can't hit the backboard next weekend.

By the second half the team was beat.

My guess is Mason stays. And give this staff some credit--he really developed over the course of a shortened and disjointed season to become a reliable reserve as a freshman. One who often held his own defensively; has a good looking 3 point jump shot, and knows how to make free throws. He can have a very nice career here and maybe see the floor a lot more if his twin plays elsewhere. This may be a win/win for both brothers.

In the 1sr half we were hurried and panicking and often had the wrong guys taking the right right shots. Dakich even commented on it...Houston was often sagging and leaving DDJ and Saunders open to shoot on purpose. Madsen was forced to hurry his shot and was not getting set. We didn’t look anywhere near good on offense in the 1st half. It was a Chinese fire drill on most possessions.

Houston made some tough shots but a lot of the shots they took were covered like it was a pregame shoot around.

The 1-3-1 zone was dreadful. No other way to describe it. Wasted energy running back and forth trying to play pin the tail on the donkey on D while Jiuston got comfortable passing the ball over it.

There was very little good to take from that game.

Do we know yet why KW walked off? Just another indication Brannen has lost the players?
