DJ's defense seems to go unnoticed by Tiger fans. Seems to be ranked 14th in NCAA.

And that right there is why Box Score metrics stink...

Not saying DJ is not a good defender...But I am taking Lester before DJ...Issue is Lester doesn't get stats.

If you just lock you man down it doesn't show up in the boxscore.

the fact is that this team has several glue guy types: DJ, Lester, DeAndre, Damion. Guys who have a much bigger impact on the game than their box score.

Yep solid defense is hard to quantify with stats.

Yeah.. no way. DJ is mediocre at defense at best. Dude has molasses slow lateral quickness and routinely gets blown by for a finish and/or foul.

His quickness isn't the problem. It is his casual approach to the game that is preventing from becoming a starter. He was supposed to be in the mix with Wiseman and Precious as elite talent coming in for the Tigers last year. He got hurt and maybe he just has never recovered, but I have said it before and will say it again if he would just act like he cares about the game he might actually start to care about it. LQ cares with a Capital D!

Most of them don’t have any ideas of their own. They are followers of one person who has stupid ideas, so they parrot that one person to make him happy.

He has not developed as most of us wish that he had.

You are correct, sir! The more i practice my air guitar the better my living room 3pt jumper (only the catch and shoot, off the dribble I still get blocked a lot).
