Seems right to me. MJ was snubbed of first team last season, so this close call IMO was justified. It helps when Pippen and LCJ dont play on the last night of conferencd play and MJ has a tripple double as well.

I thought one of the three UB guys should have been on the first team, but i understand why they weren't. With coaches voting they probably all had a different order on who they thought one, two, and three were, while other teams have clear ones and twos.

My only small gripe and I know it isn't his fault, but Preston only played in nine conference games and I don't think that was taken into enough consideration.

overall, I can't really argue with any of the top five.. Just wish one of ours was on it.

Also wondering how CMU's Polk made the freshman team??? Don't think he played a MAC game at all, and did not play in a game at all after December.

Granted, not a lot to choose from. But there were still other options around the league that played a lot more ... and in league action.

KJ Walton had no business on the honorable mention, aka 3rd team. barely played for a losing team. yeah, a couple big games but overall there were players who made a lot more impact. not a fan of vander plas on the 2nd team and thought littleson or freeman was a better defender than mballa (is there a rebounding award for him instead?

Polk played in 3 MAC games looks like and ten total. Look at Acunzo’s numbers. Is he not considered a frosh? Better than Polk or Fulcher.

Also I think Mballa showed yesterday he was a little pissed not being on the first team.
