Yeah, this hasn't been a good game. Obviously not having Smith out there has hurt us, but it's just not been good enough on either end for the last two quarters.

We would get called for a foul if we did out hustle them.

Yep, this team is mercurial. At times you see how good we can be, at times you're worried what we'll look like without Mulkey.

Smith back into the game with her 3 fouls.

McCurry embarrassing-- she gets ball taken out of hands for an easy layup.

Again, not a great quarter, but Rice again extends the lead. 47-35.

Reffing really has left a lot to be desired. Robinson clearly trying to tap it back out and somehow it gets called ODU ball.

47-35 Rice. Pretty much like the second quarter. Not very good. Lotta credit to ODU. They have to be exhausted, they got punched in the face in the first 5 minutes, but there's been no quit. Playing much harder than us.

Somehow we have outscored ODU by one point each of the last two quarters despite being badly-- and I mean really badly-- outplayed.

And ODU's Morris starts off strong in the 4th. And then Smith misses two FTs. 47-39. Schwartz gets an offensive rebound and gets fouled. Makes 1 of 2 FTs.

ODU is not going to give in. We're going to have to be sharper. This is a losable game if we don't figure things out.

Morris scores again. And Smith picks up her 4th foul. Ugh.

The offensive fouls they're calling on us are ridiculous. Smith with 4 fouls.

Not playing defense right now.

As I understand the rules, the primary determinant of victory is the final score.

And an ODU 3 cuts the lead to 6. 52-46, 5:49. Mulkey and Smith currenlty on the bench. Wiggins has been quiet this half. Crosthwait has been quiet this game. Please don't let this be like the Marshall 4th quarter.

Gawd, are we playing bad. Lead down to 6. Being out hustled up and down the court, and both ends. No offensive flow whatsover.

RE: WBB - CUSA Tournament
Man, I do not understand why coaches recruit guards that can't shoot. For all Jackson does well, you can't avoid the possessions like that. She had 3-4 looks from inside the arc and outside the arc on that possession, turned them all down, and the result is a contested Mulkey 20-footer.

52-46 ODU. I don't care about tired legs, the rotation for the next 6 minutes has to be cut to Mulkey/Wiggins/Smith/Swayze/Crosthwaite/Schwartz. Even that might not matter if we don't start getting or hitting good looks.
