is we won't get any news for weeks if not months. I guess there is still an April signing day, so there might be some news then. It's also true, with the transfer portal, that news about players transferring is pretty much public knowledge.
I just don't expect any official announcements about players coming or going unless it is in the public domain.

Yeah the time during and just after March madness is the most boring. Usually pretty quiet when it comes to recruiting until summer time. The only other thing to look forward to is the scheduling. 2015, 2016, and 2018 were more eventful for obvious reasons... I actually think it’s fun if a coaching search has multiple candidates and good rumors (like in 2015).

You are probably too young (if you actually are a teen) to remember when Jeff Slatton covered Little Rock for the local paper. He truly cared about our program (some might argue more than a reporter should) and wrote an online blog about LR Athletics. He didn't reveal any "secrets", but kept us informed about what was going on in the basketball program. Really miss that.

Jeff was good to give us inside info if he had it, but knew where the line was and would not go past it if it was going to ruffle the feathers of the administration, because that would have cut off his pipeline of info. He was very good at walking the line.
