TK On Upcoming Tournament
On his Radio Show tonight TK had this to say about the upcoming Tournament:

* Feels that there is no real advantage and or disadvantage of playing the same opponent you finished the season with in the 1st round. Besides tweaking a few things from the previous game, he said you just roll out the basketball and go play. He added that everybody in the league knows each other so well so its just a matter of going out and executing.

* The big difference between a regular season game and a tournament game is the intensity and the emphasis on taking care of the basketball on each possession as you never know if that particular possession is the one that turns the game in your favor or to the opponent. He mentioned specifically S. Milner missing a dunk with about 5 minutes to go in the Ball St road game as a major turning point in that loss to the Cardinals. He added that in last Friday night's win against Ball State it was S. Littleson's fast break three point shot that turned the game in the Rockets favor in the closing minutes.

* He feels real good about this team heading into the Tournament and thinks their consistency, playing as a team, being connected on the court and their high skill level at all positions puts them in a great position.

RE: TK On Upcoming Tournament
thinking one play is a turning point is a mindset, not an actuality and certainly not written in stone. I hate when people in sports say the team "has the momentum." They only have it if you give it and you give it when you think that way. It's like thinking three heads in a row in anyway affects the next flip. It's the coach's job to see to the team putting a play in the past and just executing the next thing.

RE: TK On Upcoming Tournament
Well, we played UM and now at least one more NCAA bound team as Cleveland State plays Oakland for the Horizon league entry.
