Coach K has been named a finalist for the Skip Prosser Man of the Year Award. Named after the late Wake Forest coach Skip Prosser, "the award is presented annually to those who not only achieve success on the basketball court, but who also display moral integrity off of it as well." Congrats Coach K!

Did we find out what is was he did to earn the nomination? The on-court stuff is obvious. the moral integrity bit seems weird. Did he return a lost lottery ticket or something?

I know that he led the men's basketball program in collecting toiletries for those in need through an organization called Scouting and Scavenging. Toledo MBB was named the Scavenger of the Month in January for their collection.

That's along the lines what I was thinking an award would be for. Community service. I couldn't figure an award for "moral integrity" like that's supposed to be unusual. I think they mean won a lot without cheating. That rules out a few.

Senderoff and Huger are also on the list. Interesting that the MAC site only mentions Senderoff's nomination. Typical MAC
