Making NBA/NHL arenas dual purpose
Warning: I'll be using outdated names

The following arenas have either an NBA or NHL tenant. Is the arena suitable for the other sport?

Rose Garden
Delta Center
Conseeco Fieldhouse
The Aud
Kiel Center
Mellon Center (know its a new arena)

RE: Making NBANHL arenas dual purpose
Every hockey specific arena can do NBA as the ice is larger than the court. The converse doesn't hold re: Barclays Center / Talking Stick Arena

I've heard that Barclays is TERRIBLE for hockey.

I thought the Islanders played at the Barclays...or at least some games have to be played there if they are still doing their other venue.

Just using Google will tell you if ice hockey, NHL or otherwise, has been played in a particular arena...

They did from 2015-20. but the sight lines were so bad (part of the ice was under the upper deck) that they went back to Nassau Coliseum for this season. The Isles will play at USB Arena next season.

Here's a view from Section 1 at Barclays. You'd have to watch action played near the goal closest to you on the video board.
