What would have been worse?
Losing in the tournament last year or tonight? One year ago, I was about to head down to New Orleans to see us win a championship when Covid hit. This year, I cancelled my reservations, a week or two ago, because of our disastrous finish and the fact the Covid would have limited what my wife would have been willing to do in Pensacola (i.e. eat in restaurants, go into shops, etc.). Tonight's loss was disappointing, but not unexpected (even with the ridiculous size advantage we had over AppSt). Last year, I believe a loss would have been more devastating, but I would have been able to look forward to the NIT and the future with our entire team returning. I still wish we had a chance to play last year's tournament, win or lose. It is a lot more fun when we are truly in the running for a tournament championship.

Playing games in Junior college arena with 200 people is a unique experience.
