If you would have told me back in november the season would've ended like this with multiple players leaving the program after our regular season title run, I would have thought you were crazy. But, here we are. One and done in Pensacola. Here's to, hopefully, a better season in the future

Yep, there's always next year. What a roller coaster. Worst in the league, to first in the league, to back to (almost) the bottom. Of course, this year's worst team (Troy) looks like they are about to win their first round game against UTA.
If we are to jump back up next year, we will have to do a hell of job in the transfer marketplace and probably get a couple of Jucos as well.

A transfer and 2 jucos, that's 3 schollys. If Admir comes back we have only 2 scholarships to fill. What you are talking about will take more. Who do you cut?

Admir would not count against our 13 scholarships according to the NCAA's Covid policy. I don't think we will have to "cut" anybody. I expect more defections, but hopefully I am completely wrong.

I see that scholarship rule applies to spring athletes but I haven't seen anything about this concerning winter sports. Do you have a link? It would only make sense to do this.

Just what I have read in different places. Don't have a link at the moment.

Hope you are right. I can't find anything to back it up. This article seems to say if a winter sports athlete decides to play an extra year the school can decide whether the player receives scholarship funds. It also says a player that transfers after this season will not have to sit out next season. Hmm, if that is the case Kamani Johnson might have been better off staying with us this season and playing and going to UA next season.
