Guess we aren’t getting a post game radio show. So, we’re playing for a double bye tomorrow?

C-USA basketball uses win percentage to determine conference tournament seeds. But what about determining regular season champion? With the UAB win tonight and ODU win over Western Kentucky, the overall standings tightened up.
UAB would be playing for a regular season co-championship with a win on Saturday if standings are used to determine a champion or co-champion.

Does anyone know how the regular season champion is decided?

I guess there will be no overall C-USA regular season champion but only division champions. Makes sense, it's C-USA. Several folks had mentioned couple of weeks ago top record might receive automatic NCAA bid if tournament cancelled.

Hopefully, this was Ertel’s breakthrough game. Sometimes you just need to see some shots go in the basket.

His career shooting numbers are wild. Hard to imagine someone with a 40/40/90 season at volume is currently 22% from three. Maybe the law of averages helps him out going into the playoffs and he can get near his career shooting splits.

Yep, we will need him. If we are going to advance, it’s going to be on his shoulders. Hopefully he is up for the challenge.

That was a dominant game by Trey. The box score says two blocks, but he altered about 10 more and there were times where the UNT guys just didnt even try to shoot when he was hovering nearby. If we get that version of Ertel and that kind of effort from the big man then I like our chances against just about anyone.
