NU will host UMass Wednesday at 3 pm in the home opener at Friedman Diamond. The game can be seen on Howlin Huskies Productions online.
Freshman RHP Wyatt Scotti will start in his college debut.

I watched a little of the game. It was weird listening to that couple chatting about what they like to eat in the food court and other people in their dorm. They must have been sitting next to the announcer.

I wrote to Howlin’ Huskies Production about that as I heard the same thing! It ticked me off. Yeah they were chatting in front of the press box where the home plate camera is located.
Anyway, since the game wasn’t initially on the schedule, HHP didn’t use multiple cameras, including the center field camera shot. You don’t hear the chatter when using that camera.
It was a nice win over UMass. Starter Wyatt Scotti looked very good.

NU beat UMass 11-2 at Friedman Diamond.
Freshman RHP Wyatt Scotti got his first college win in his 1st start ( 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 5 K).
1B Corey DiLoreto went 2-2 2 B, 4 R and CF Ben Malgeri went 3-5 w/ 4 SB, 2 RBI
NU heads to Norfolk, VA for a 3-game weekend series at old CAA for ODU.

Good for ypu. What we usually put out there is usually first class. This was a little embarrassing. .
