That 40 time is going to help his stock quite a bit I think. I always thought he’d be undrafted, but a team may pick him up in a later round now.

He looked a lot better in 2020 after losing weight IMO. So much faster but still had the power/tackle breaking ability.

I think the games are the least important part of the all star games. Workouts in front of personnel guys with a chance for them to see your work habits is more important than game action

he might be better off has an undrafted free agent than a late round pick. he could pick the best opportunity

Always better to go undrafted in my opinion. Seventh round picks aren’t guaranteed anything.

It’s better to show recruits former UAB players who signed as undrafted free agents on NFL rosters than guys “drafted out of UAB” who did not make it out of training camp

Out of the guys that we’ve had drafted. Backman was the only player, 2 years and done.
Nelson, Howard, Webb is still on rosters, year by year. Rush was NFL ready and got screwed out of 4th-5th rd money. Darious Williams got it, out the mud.
it’s our UDFAs that cant make it out of and past Rookie Mini-camps. Reaves blew it, off the field.

The point was if you have fallen to the 7th round you have a better chance making a team if you can pick the best situation.
