I don't know man. I've been watching a lot of NBA this year (so I'm pretty much an expert now). And it just seems like Bassey would be really undersized in what he would do on an NBA team. Guys his size can shoot 3's in the NBA. So as much as the announcers are sucking the big ol Bassey D, he must get info about his self worth in the NBA that informs him of his decision to stay in college. Did I mention I'm an expert?

My sanity was preserved because I turned it off after 5 minutes. We just don’t have a very talented team per usual. No good shooters. We just keep alive with good defense against mediocre teams but don’t belong on the floor with Maryland, VCU or WKU.

Now that 09 is leaving our luck will come back. But seriously we’re going to need it, we’re not playing bad but Western is playing better with better talent. Time for the Stans effect.

Yeah it's just really hard to watch. I know this isn't the right place to say it, but I've been having a blast watching NBA this year. Going from the NBA to odu basketball is a little hard on the eyes. Sucking at shooting is just not a good way to keep a casual fan interested.

Jeff says at halftime that "we need to make the open jump shots".

Answer: Recruit better shooters then Jeff and put significant practice into shooting and offensive sets to make them the best shooters and scores possible. Every year your team is filled with some of the worst shooters I see from any team playing on TV. The head coach is the constant in that equation.

Jeff says at halftime that "we need to get more physical on the defensive end of the floor".

Answer: Recruit BIGGER and STRONGER players then Jeff. This is at least the 2nd time this season I have heard you say the team needs to be more physical. I've also heard you say post game this season how 'small' your centers are. You've got a couple of 6'-7" guys trying to defend the post against a bigger center tonight and it is easy to see how being smaller only makes it that much more difficult to defend against him. THAT'S ON YOU! Recruit the players to fit the style you want to play. Don't recruit just anybody and then try to mold them into being what you want them to be.
