That is great news...I am glad he is well. Jokingly, maybe the conk on the head will help him remember to give up the ball rather than try to beat multiple defenders and press a bad position.

He does try to do too much sometimes. Not all the times but sometimes. Like he thinks "I'm going to take this to the hole" and nothing's going to dissuade him. Definitely would rather have him on the floor than not though.

I was very high on WKU, but after looking at the numbers, and also looking at their lack of depth (assuming Anderson is out) I think there is an actual possibility that ODU could sneak out with two wins. It's not likely, but it's possible. I also factored in the Stansbury effect, and that made me feel better about the chances on winning two this weekend as well.

It's definitely not easy, but they are not far and away the best team in the conference. Which is incredible if you think about it.

Yeah, the way they've recruited they should be a top 25 team looking to make a deep run. The Stans effect is real and I agree that we can win. We need to take advantage of all our opportunities and keep Kalu on the floor.

I don't really like our matchup with them but I will take Jones in game coaching over $tansbury any day.

They do turn the ball over a ton which is a killer for them. But, they shoot the ball pretty well overall (especially free throws). They are really good at offensive boards. Their defense is pretty solid. The biggest defensive weakness they have is 3 point defense and we can't shoot.

If Anderson and Frampton are out, thats a big help.

Being the NIT is a 16 team at large only scenario being hosted by CUSA at NT - I wonder if ODU were to win the east by winning 2 games this weekend would be considered a viable option to get invited ?

I wouldnt mind trading one (maybe two wins) against them this weekend... for ONE win against them in Frisco.

It is really strong, and they can't/shouldn't fire him. He brings in some legit talent, and it is exciting basketball because they have some legit pro prospects come through there. The problem is that he is just flat out horrible coach that instills 0 discipline into his program. That really matters when it comes to late season in game situations. When they win it's based on their incredible talent, which is undeniable.

WKU -7.5 this AM.

Anderson and Frampton listed as game-time decisions.

The postponements certainly helped our cause playing them now rather than earlier in the season.

Really? They’ve won 9 straight including: 2 over Marshall, 2 over Rice and 2 over FIU. All 3 teams we split with.

I’d say that 7.5 margin is designed to lure people betting on ODU. I hope I’m very very very wrong but in the first game I see it 74-59 WKU.

Talent wise they are way above us. Our only hope is Satansbury really effs them up.
