1. It was great to be back at 5/3. Towards the end when we pulled within 6-7 everything almost felt normal with how loud the crowd got. The piped in crowd noise was kind of aggravating.

2. Way too many Vandy players left wide open to take a three in the first half or drive to the basket.

3. Madsen and Eason really played like freshman tonight. Might have won the game if not for their mistakes and a few typical KW plays as mentioned above. I'll still miss him, though.

At least we know how to prevent those deadly midrange jump shots! 05-stirthepot

If he wants to be a 3 (he really is, IMO) I’d worry if the plan is to keep playing him at the 4. It’s really not fair to him.

And I said dollars to donuts one of them will not be here next year. That’s a pretty low risk proposition bet nowadays.

Yep, he has the enthusiasm of a junkyard dog, but the rebounding and boxing out skills of someone who's never played before. That ball goes up on defense and he completely loses track of where his man is. It's glaring.

This year's team plays defense with their heads down, only concerned about the guy in front of them. It's embarrassing
as a fan of the team if you're used to your team playing good team defense.

We sure do. Easy layups and have your defenders completely lose their guy to give up wide open looks from 3. We really nailed that portion of the game plan last night.

I’m late to the party but have to add this somewhere, so apologies if someone already brought it up.

I’ve never seen a college team turn the ball over by simply stepping on the out of bounds line as much as these Bearcats in my life. It’s quite mind blowing really. I just laugh when it happens every game.

That, and the incredible amount of passes that are just thrown out of bounds.

I mean, every team has guys get their signals crossed and a pass occasionally goes to the invisible man.

But these guys... man oh man.

College basketball is weird. Vandy beat ole miss playing without Pippen just last week. Vandy has been a good offensive team (and bad defensive team) all year. This is a really weird result.

Vandy put up 52 points in the first half against South Carolina earlier in the year and won 93-81. It happens that way sometimes.

At 6-14, South Carolina is about as terrible at times on D and can be as sloppy as UC is.

Pippen had a good game against the Bearcats he did not have a good game against the Rebels.
