Baseball
In 2016, LR's Ryan Scott led the NCAA with a .435 batting average. By 2018, his pro career was over after batting .194 (96 games, 324 AB) at the Class A level. Is there really that much of a difference between Class A ball and Sun Belt level baseball (I believe baseball is the Sun Belt's best sport)? Were there possibly other factors (injuries?) that we don't know about. Really thought he was a kid who could make the big time after finishing up here.

Low A is no different than playing in an upper level wood bat summer league. High A would be very different however.

I did notice that he batted around .270 at the A- level, than .242 at the A level, and .194 at the A+ level. Obviously, your assessment is very accurate. He did quite well at A-, somewhat below average at A, and then bombed at the A+ level. I had no idea about the difference in A levels.

Doesn't apply anymore because they don't exist, but in the old format, most new draft picks were placed in Low A together, so some of those Low A teams were literally like Summer League teams. The challenge didn't hit until High A, when you started running into can't miss prospects and pros on rehab. High A was universally most teams Spring training location, so you get a lot of MLB players on rehab at that level.

RE: Baseball
Was able to listen to some of the baseball game today online. Thankfully I tuned in during that big 4th inning where they scored 5 runs. Glad it was on the radio, love listening to ball games on the radio.
