Question Blazer baseball week of 3/1-3/7
February has come and gone. Our baseball team is 5-2 after a sweep of Alabama A&M this weekend, mid-week loss to Troy, and 2 out of 3 wins against Valparaiso last weekend.

Upcoming games this week:
3/2 - Alabama-Tuscaloosa at Regions Field (fans allowed)
3/5-3/7 - Kennesaw State at Young Memorial Field

Wish there were more games at Regions. Had a relaxing time kicking back and taking in the Blazer win and great weather today.

I think it has to do with lack of attendance for non-Power 5 opponents that aren’t local vs. rent for using Regions Field.

It’s been rough no matter the site ever since that pitching rotation moved on to the Minors a decade ago in CUSA 2.0 days.

28th in ERA

Also in the top 50 in hits (32nd), scoring (37th), BB/9 (41st), batting average (47th) and strikeout to walk ratio (49th).

Im keeping my fingers crossed that the next Regions game ( vs Auburn) on the 9th will be more hospitable for fans and players alike than today's washout vs Alabama turned out to be.

Lost 9-3 to Kennesaw State. This was our first series loss of the season, and hopefully we can avoid the sweep tomorrow.

Baseball avoided the sweep with a victory of 8-7 to improve a record of 6-4 this season.
