I agree on both statements

Trending down for a long time with a blip here and there and it will continue down in it's current makeup. Also don't see anyway that making a north/south conference out of it will make it better.

Making travel better would be a step in the right direction
A round robin conference from Boston to Charleston without any TV money was already ridiculous. Now in the post covid era jts just stupid

RE: CAA Men's Tournament
If you remove the athletics aspect of the conference, academically it's fantastic. In that aspect, UNCW is in great company and the schools align well with us in both size and academics. Far better than in the SoCon or any other confrence we could realistically get into.
Which is why a N/S division setup is ideal. UNCW could stay aligned with schools it has an academic and size equivalent with, and also become more geographically aligned to save costs and create better rivalries. It would then be easier for each division to add additional schools into a tighter geographic footprint and make each division stronger.
I couuld see a UNCG coming into a South division of the CAA that wouldn't join the CAA now due to the travel costs. I could see an A10 school like GW move into the CAA divisional setup as well. It would be a win/win for the conference and I really have no idea why it hasn't been done already.

Why would an A10 school go down from the CAA? I get geographically it may be better but i'd bet the farm their media deal likely offsets any travel savings.

Indifferent. Theyve been doing it all season long. They were open dialogue on the topic internally and made their own choices how to handle it. With anything and any of the protests, you find what you look for. People who dont like it will be upset with it. People know their intent and refuse to acknowledge it because they have their own intent. Its a non issue to me. People will never agree or see things through others eyes (both directions)
Being there, they were on the opposite side of the court to any of the drexel fans, so almost all fans of Drexel there (which was a great turnout btw) had no idea and didnt know until after the game when it hit the media. Most people arent looking at them when the anthem is playing, they are looking at the flag. The media is looking for stories to make big deals of stuff, so im indifferent.

That's a topic the media will jump on for sure. That's how I saw it, as I did not watch the game. Well, All I will say on the topic is I'm glad UNCW choose to stand for the anthem all season.
