To put it in perspective. WSU has a +21 for the season in conference. Memphis beat Wichita by +20. Throw out the Memphis game and WSU has a +1 in the other 10 games. Hallelujah-Praise the lord if that's the team that wins our conference.

The weirdest season in our brief history continues to get weirder.

If you tossed the Memphis game, wouldn’t that make them +41 in the other 10?

lol.....actually you are right. My bad.

Early in the season, I rated Houston a top 30 team, but not a top 10 team. Their three conference losses to Tulsa, East Carolina, and Wichita State supported my view.

But with Houston’s offense steadily improving, and F. White returning, Houston is now a force tone reckoned with. Just hope that Houston playing weak conference opponents doesn’t come-back to bite them in the NCAA tournament. Given their improvement, Houston should make the Sweet Sixteen. Looking forward to seeing who’s in their bracket.

I blame Covid for this effed up mess. We were fine all season until a certain unnamed purple-clad team showed up, and suddenly Memphis and then SMU had everybody turn up sick. 03-lmfao

Typically the American regular season champ gets in, so it helps the league if that team is Wichita, not Houston. Then if Memphis can get to the conference championship game, they get in. So maybe 3 bids.

I think there are ways for Memphis, SMU, and Wichita State to get in without having to win the championship.
