If Hardaway can't come up with the game plan and inspire these guys to play their hearts for 1 week, then we just need to shut up and hope for a better team next season. These guys can do it. This season will be remembered as a weird one anyway.

If memphis wins the next 3 it is not enough because we won’t jump Wichita state and the conference will not be given 3 spots. It’s not complicated and it’s right there in the numbers.

I said it would probably get us to first 4 out range. If you have the time to go back through all my posts, go through the resumes of the 9 teams ahead of us on the bubble.

One thing at a time. Beat USF 15-6, we're in, lose, we have to win the tournament
Beat Houston 16-6, we're still in, lose, we have to win the tournament
Win 2 in tourney, 18-6, that's at least 2 Q1 wins, I think they put us in.
Win the tourney 19-6 and it gets pretty easy.

Its a shame this season got so screwed up with COVID19 but it is what it is, I think a full schedule and we'd have found a way to be in the field already.

There are teams that have a record that correctly represent that team's abilities. Then there are teams that are better than their record and worse than their record. I think Williams late eligibility played a bigger than normal role in our record because of all the cancelled conference games. This Tiger team is a really good team that still plays worse than they are because of turnovers and free throws, but Cisse's and Dandridge's huge improvement and the addition of Williams are 2 big reasons we are a different team than we looked like in some early games and a really good reason we can win the next 5 games.

Its 5 games now. Wednesday, let's make it 4.

We need to win 3 game to get in -- Fri, Sat, and Sun in Fort Worth.

If we get in, great. If not, on to next year.

Plus, this year really isn't a big deal. This year is a freebie and every player is eligible for an extra year to play. This season is all messed up anyways with the cancellations and postponements. I don't think any team has played a full season. So, to say one deserves to go in over the other, based on the current season with all this going on makes no sense. If every team that qualified played all their original scheduled teams, and, had no cancels and postponements, I'd say it'd be a fair assessment of the team. But, when one team is forced to stay off the court for two weeks, while others can practice is unfair.

It'd be nice to make it in the tournament. I think this team deserves it. Coach Penny seems to have found a system that works with this team. So, I think this team will be hard to beat in the AAC the last two games and the tournament.

Wichita State isn't ahead of us based on any metric. They are only ahead because they have less conference losses. They have also avoided 1 game with us and 2 games with SMU. IF we beat Houston, we will be 3-1 versus Houston, Wichita and SMU AND will have a 20 point beatdown of Wichita among our wins. Wichita will be 1-2.

To even think that Wichita will get in ahead of us when we will be way ahead of them on every computer, with a road win at Houston, and a 20 point demolition of them because they beat Ole Piss, is beyond idiotic.
