RE: UTSA Game Two
One of the worst shooting UAB teams ever.
Lovan's first attempted and made 3 of the season.

RE: UTSA Game Two
Benjamin hits a 3 at the buzzer, UAB down at the half 42-33. We're a step slow today on D.
5-12 from 3pts but down 9. Only 7-20 from inside the arc. Go figure.

Well my theory that If we got “hot” from three one day We’d be really tough to beat has been disproven LOL. That assumed we played good defense though

D coming out of the half gave us a chance - O coming out of half took it away

We gave up 59 last night.
We may very well give up a hundred today.

RE: UTSA Game Two
If we play defense like that again we have absolutely no chance at beating anyone outside of rust

RE: UTSA Game Two
Why are we so inept on offense? It’s mind boggling. And frustrating.

Can’t tell if we’re increasing the post touches because the offense is struggling, or if the offense is struggling because of the increase of post touches.

Not a good performance, obviously, but my main reaction is I really, really despise this 2-game format. Almost as much as I despise this league.

So many "despise" C-USA and yet UAB is only in it because in 2015 it begged to be allowed to remain in it with time to resurrect its football program and that time was granted. We were actually on our way out the door, and all we had to do was tell C-USA "We will see you around" and close the door. UAB could then have joined any league that invited it. If we want out, the door is still there and open, and there may be conference members with half decade memories who would not shed a tear to see UAB leave..
