Here's how we got screwed that Laird isn't admitting. There is no reason we couldn't reschedule the @Houston game. Houston has 7 days with no games. We could EASILY reschedule that game without burdening them. Sampson just doesn't want to do it. And the league is letting him get away with it.

So, yeah, they agreed before the season on moving games that COULD NOT be rescheduled. But that agreement did not cover games that the coach WOULD NOT reschedule.

Schedule Colorado State....they need games also.

We were screwed but it does give us the opportunity to get a big road win at UH. Then beat UH again in the tourney. That might get us in.

Are we going to reschedule either of the Temple games?

First off the SMU/Wichita games aren't rescheduled. Second Wichita state isn't in the field right now. Nor would SMU get in if they beat Wichita St.

Lastly a Memphis team with 3 straight road wins one of those being at Houston and if they win 2 games in the conf tourney (if it's played) would probably get in.

Aint no probably about it...

If Memphis wins the next 3 they are absolutely in.

Cincy beat Tulane tonight by 20. They got good shooters especially in their gym. Let's just beat them. Take 'em one at a time !!

Wichita wants and needs the game vs you guys or one of the two vs SMU. WSU will likely finish with 7 games not rescheduled and WSU never went on pause themselves...

This year is such a cluster.

We should play Wich St , Monday Mar 1 in cincy, ohio.
Obviously, this is a neutral court. this would be day after memphis vs cincy game in cincy. After this game, wich st goes to New Orleans for mar 3 game with Tulane.
Memphis will fly to tampa for Mar 2 game with USF.
I know this will be difficult for both teams. But, from a memphis' perspective, there is no easy way to make up an eighteen day period of no games.

Our road game at Houston is cancelled because of us. You think we should be rewarded with a home game, or worse, we should play 4 games in 8 days?

wichita state and smu will only play 13 conference games out of 20

houston will play 17 and memphis 15

ucf will play the most with 18, east carolina the least with 12

Then why the hell move the USF game?

because of the disparity in conference games played

using that number to determine a conference playoff bracket

would be about as fair as the Vietnam draft lottery
