We don't know. STF never tells us little people anything unless he has to, or he's making a "big announcement." It's always "just send money." Hate to have such a jaundiced view about the Old U, but after so many years it almost comes naturally. Plus it's so easy to complain.

That was kind of my point. It was in regards to the comment that he's more about promoting his "agenda" than he is the university.

But, outside of the university, what does he ever say? (and I'm aware, he doesn't say much about the university either, but the point stands)

Dude, this is a story from November 16, 2019; Since it's Feb. 2021, hardly believe "new bookstore" is accurate. Back then, you could have entered that store without a mask.

I had no idea what they were doing there, they remodeled.

It would be a good idea to put a billboard up since it's going to be the only spot on campus for fanfare outside of venues on game day.

That said, the location sucks as there is no parking to speak of, and hopefully the keycard/id lockdown to enter is only short term.

I feel like the VCB ran a little trailer and store on gameday. Hopefully the remaining bookstore does the same thing. Also, not sure if a second bookstore is in our cards, since Chegg and other online book shopping options are available.

Student Center location is fine for students. Definitely not good for game day fans and parents. Maybe smaller 2nd location with no textbooks, just core selection of fan gear and school accessories?

Too bad about the store. I do think that building needs to be demolished and a new mixed use commercial/residential building needs to be built. It’d be awesome if they could revamp that area of campus with restaurants/stores/bars. One can dream...

Sorry, but you got the wrong guy for that. I will invest my money in a 20,000 sq. ft., multi-story mega-Grotto for that location. Each floor will have a different theme, and the entire building will be lit by high-power spotlights that can be seen all over the entire city and from outer space. The sign will be classy, but it'll feature a new sex toy each month. And we will NOT discriminate against the ladies. They will have their own designated floors. I plan on making millions. And our motto has been and will always be: "First Come, First Served". But, please do not be misguided by our warehouse signs that say, "Deliver the Goods in the Rear". I will ensure that this business venture operates with the same class and dignity that it always has.

As an alum, I probably spent a couple hundred bucks a year there. New sweatshirt every year due to theft by my daughter. Tank, tshirt, polo, long sleeve shirt etc.
