March Madness selections/replacements
NCAA lays out policies for teams that have to cancel NCAA appearance/their replacement. Too much to spell out here... have to read if interested.

The two second version... conferences only have a say if it’s between tourney champs and selections... between selections and actual play it’s the NCAA picking replacements. During play, forfeits.

So When Georgia State wins the League Tournament, than gets their 15th Covid outbreak of the season two days after Selection Sunday, the NCAA can invite another SEC school to fill their slot? Lovely!

Only if GAST can remain COVID free before & through the Sun Belt Tournament, and that's a very BIG IF

Dont jinx us. We managed to practice two days in a row just before the USA weekend for the first time since December.

I would hope the NCAA selection committee includes the next 25 runner ups, in order, for replacement purposes.

But, yeah, I could see a couple mid-major conferences getting the shaft with this. Like said above, some one goes out, just to be replaced by a 12th ACC school or 14th Big East school.

seems like the 1 bid leagues are fine, the conference will get to pick the replacement. Its the multi-bid leagues where they could lose a bid to another conference if covid takes out a team. Committee sounds like they are not expecting more than 4 multi bid league teams to drop out.
