Not sure how many boxing fans are on here, but Marvin Hagler was one of, if not my all time favorite. Warrior in the ring and a class act out of it. If you are not a boxing fan or young one who doesn't remember him, Look up Hagler vs Hearns on Youtube. The greatest 1st round in the history of boxing. You may never see anything like it again.

Was my favorite boxer as a kid. Made me learn to switch to southpaw when I was just a tot. .

Not only was he a complete savage, but he was a technician and he made talented boxers look flat out awkward. He got robbed by a media and sport that was in love with the idea of the marketing machine of Sugar Ray Leonard.

The 1st round of Hagler-Hearns might be the best opening round of boxing ever. Might need to spin that one up on YouTube soon.

These were the glory years. The fights between Hagler, Hearns and Leonard were epoch. I thought Hagler beat Sugar Ray but those scoring a ringside thought different.

Watched all 3 rounds after I switched from the UC game. Holy crap. Great nostalgia. I forgot how good it really was.

40 minutes of time well spent.

Also, search and watch the 6th round of his match against John The Beast Mugabi...good lord it’s like brass knuckle street fight.
