Good to see UTEP make this game very interesting, unfortunately the majority of Kansas fans and general college basketball fans don't even know what conference UTEP is even in. Hoping this would bolster the respect for CUSA hoops but it will be minimal.

To do that, we need to not just “lose close” but actually win.

Putting a team in the Sweet Sixteen would help, too.

There's nothing to worry about. We'll be back to our inconsistencies and bow out at the quarterfinals or before.
