SBC foots the production costs and plays football on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. No thanks Hard Pass

So Facebook, CUSA-TV, and Stadium do increase viewership?

The sports streaming platforms are the future, whether you like it or not.

You've contradicted yourself. But he was talking about ESPN+ specifically not increasing viewership. No one stumbles onto a ESPN+ game. likes what they see and decides to become even a casual fan anymore than Facebook or Stadium. We already know our ****** TV deal doesn't provide us with a lick of growth. The point I think he was making is that you guys just haven't figured out yours doesn't either.

The NFL works on Access streaming because people that like the NFL will watch any game on. Not true for college. And definitely not true for G5 teams on ESPN+. ESPN+ is for the fans of the teams on it the same as stadium, facebook, and cusa tv. It's not for growth. However I like the idea of one service to find all my team's games instead of playing internet roulette to find a game.

This is one sports fan who knows the proper serving temperature for a crisp salad.

I didn't insinuate ESPN+ was for growth. It's simply a convenient platform to find all of your schools broadcasts without having to go through various outlets (like Facebook, Stadium, etc.). ESPN+ is also usually better when it comes to having better quality, compared to Facebook and CUSATV. I was mainly pointing out the ESPN+ type platforms are going to be where your sports wind up, despite some prideful posters thinking they'll take a "hard pass" on it.

But to say that the SBC's TV deal doesn't provide a lick of growth just doesn't make sense at all. There is way too much to point to that says otherwise. The SBC became a much more known football conference in 2020 because of our TV deal with ESPN, and it's hard to argue that.
