I am amazed nobody called a foul on UC on that last play.

Ugly game but any win on the road is ok by me.

The last three games UC has played at TULSA have been wild positive finishes for UC.

True. He passed up a bunch of shots early in the game and i think he was up against the shot clock on that one, although i'm not 100% on that.

Normally i'd be ok with him shooting as well, but this year if he's not hitting shots early, they just do not seem to fall at all. He and Djd have been a mystery from the perimeter. I think both are much better than what they've shown. Madsen didn't score in the second half, but i give him props as I thought his 3's in the first half got them off the mat and going. I like that kid.

This team is both super frustrating and compelling to watch. Nice job beating Tulsa on senior night after the slow start.

He's a lot better when our perimeter guys are not letting their men drive right to the hoop. I'd love to have a breakdown of his fouls this year and how many of them are against non front court players.

I'll take the win but long for the days when we put opponents away by twenty or thirty points.

No argument here. i recall MAW missing one or two treys early and he stopped looking for his shot after that. He's talented enough that he has to get over his lack of confidence (assuming that's the issue). Truth be told, i like him for the corner trey but, as our best FT shooter, i want him to get to the line. He's not going to get that by shooting treys. Pump fake and go to the rim.

Hey, how many times have we lost close games like this? Too many to list. It's time the ball bounced our way for a change. I'll say this, these guys don't quit and play hard for CJB. That is unquestioned. The issue I see is they play faster and more aggressive than their minds can keep up at times. They get too wild and out of control, making stupid IQ plays. When they get into a flow and distribute the ball it can work. Young team. I still like the core and upside of this group. Next game up!

Yea, i know a lot of folks are down on Brannen, but they do not quit out there. There's obviously some roster limitations with all these young guys, but they do play to the end. Saunders gave them some good minutes tonight on offense and other than the ill advised ally oop i though he also contributed nicely. They just have to keep working. This is at this point a very inexperienced team. Even Vogt really only had one season prior to this.

You have to remember that these guys are young. Often you have 2 freshman on the floor at the same time - sometimes 3. Davenport is playing major minutes this year when he really wasn't used that much last year. they'll be ok. Need to recruit more shooters if Gabe and Harvey don't return next year and 2 bigs that can contribute right away.
