RE: Local Food Vendors at Protective Stadium
I imagine we'll see a Sneaky Pete's for hot dogs and burgers, a Full-Moon for barbeque, Chic Fil-a for chicken sandwiches, for linus suggestion I think a BWW would be perfect as a sit down restaurant at the stadium.

The 6 dates vs. 81 for baseball may mitigate against that, but especially for new fans who don’t have a tailgate group that could be nice
We have always thought of tailgating outside the stadium, but if space permits, maybe we can tailgate inside the stadium (with vendor provided food and drink in a sit-down venue). GREAT IDEA!!

Can you name a stadium venue that holds more than 20k people that allows outside food or drink to be brought in? Just a single one.
Truist Park
Quote:Outside food is allowed inside of Truist Park as long as it fits inside a clear, gallon sized plastic bag. Guests may also bring a sealed plastic bottle of water. One bag of food and one bottle of water per ticket will be permitted.

I was specifically asking the person I quoted. Since he seemed very critical of Legion Field's stance on it, I wanted to know if he even knew of a stadium that behaved differently (especially since UA's does not).
That said, that's a good answer. There are a number of MLB stadiums that allow outside food. I don't know if that's some league tradition still being upheld or not.

I also hope we have local and domestic beer selections. I know Cahaba made a UAB Return beer a few years back at the UAB Alumni tent. Would be nice to have that or similar on draft or canned.
I thought it was cool that MTSU had their own branded beer from a local brewery at their stadium.
Birmingham is a a great food and beverage city. I'm sure one of our many fantastic breweries can make a UAB/Protective Stadium/BJCC themed beer and/or can.
