One likely (speculative) scenario if we don't get a seed would be something like a first round matchup with VMI, followed by a second round game at UD.

I could see us hosting the first game based on bids, then on the road the rest of the way. The VU vs UD game is big for us, as is the scoreboard on our remaining games. We currently need about a 46-0 score next week to catch up to UD on tiebreakers.

Yes, though I think this can change the next two weeks if some of the other teams that are 4-0 become 5-0 or 6-0.

If UD or RU win out and get the CAA AQ, I will not be surprised to see the committee seed them ahead of us.

Not because they are better teams, but on paper the resume will be better.

Our Fall games AT Delaware and AT Weber will be important in terms of both poll rank and seeding.

It seems to be more or less based on where teams finished in the playoffs.

More undeserved is 4 MVC teams in the top 10, particularly SIU at #8. VMI would kick their tails IMO.

Except where do you put the teams tbat DNP the winter/spring season, esp the 4 quarterfinal teams from last (2019) season?
-Montana (did lose maybe best WR in country to transfer).
-Montana St- New HC?
-Sac St.
-UCA: 5-4 in the fall but 4-2 vs FCS, including losing to 39-28 to NDSU with Trey Lance and 2nd Rd pick Dillon Radunz.

Those 4 2019 qtrfinal teams will probably all be ranked. Maybe not top 10, but top 15-20..
