RE: [NEWS] Supreme Court rules Trump must surrender tax documents to New York prosecutor.
Quote:This investigation is a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country, whether it was the never ending $32 million Mueller hoax, which already investigated everything that could possibly be investigated, “Russia Russia Russia,” where there was a finding of “No Collusion,” or two ridiculous “Crazy Nancy” inspired impeachment attempts where I was found NOT GUILTY. It just never ends!

So now, for more than two years, New York City has been looking at almost every transaction I’ve ever done, including seeking tax returns which were done by among the biggest and most prestigious law and accounting firms in the U.S. The Tea Party was treated far better by the IRS than Donald Trump. The Supreme Court never should have let this “fishing expedition” happen, but they did. This is something which has never happened to a President before, it is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat location, New York City and State, completely controlled and dominated by a heavily reported enemy of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo. These are attacks by Democrats willing to do anything to stop the almost 75 million people (the most votes, by far, ever gotten by a sitting president) who voted for me in the election—an election which many people, and experts, feel that I won. I agree!

The new phenomenon of “headhunting” prosecutors and AGs—who try to take down their political opponents using the law as a weapon—is a threat to the very foundation of our liberty. That’s what is done in third world countries. Even worse are those who run for prosecutorial or attorney general offices in far-left states and jurisdictions pledging to take out a political opponent. That’s fascism, not justice—and that is exactly what they are trying to do with respect to me, except that the people of our Country won’t stand for it.

In the meantime, murders and violent crime are up in New York City by record numbers, and nothing is done about it. Our elected officials don’t care. All they focus on is the persecution of President Donald J. Trump.

I will fight on, just as I have, for the last five years (even before I was successfully elected), despite all of the election crimes that were committed against me. We will win!

Been over this 1000 times. Individuals hire attorneys to do things for them LEGALLY. Trump never did anything. He always paid someone else to do it. This is a witch hunt. Are they subpoenaing Trump's tax returns or Trump Inc. tax returns? Tax returns only tell you for what and how much you paid in taxes. His taxes have been audited ad nauseum. This will go away. What will likely happen is his tax returns will be released to the media and somebody will go to jail for that.

Theyve gotta be mildly retarded to keep beating this drum.

What a tangled web, rent money going all over the place. The rental value of a property is tied to its appraised value according to the article. I do love the quote that if Trump isn't doing something wrong he's trying real hard to make it appear as if he is lol

I would think that appraised values are tied to rental values in certain places where there are a lot of unique properties. Square footage in a similar location wont always do it. Properties sitting next to each other might have radically different rental values. Moving rental money around like this not only affects your property taxes to school taxes. Moving rental money outside the jurisdiction it belongs would affect your local taxes. Lots of abuse potential. I suspect that's what they want to look at.

Hunter and Joe Biden* took tens of millions of dollars from the chinese, and you are getting a hardon over where people who rented from Trump were mailing their payments?

Trump appointee doesn't necessarrily equate to Trump supporter?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that there must be SOMETHING there if they ordered the returns to be released.

I don't think they did. Without reading NYT drivel, I think they simply refused to hear the case, so the lower court or NY court ruling stands.

And approving it simply means the DA has a right to subpoena these documents.

Ok. So they havent actually seen them.

Again, why do you, for an instant, believe a Salon article that is nothing but uninformed speculation? What do they know about rent collection, specifically how it pertains to the Trump organization? Do you understand how obscenely rare it would be to actually send a rent check to the office building in which you rent space? Rent is generally sent to one of two places, the office of the management companies accounting office, or if required, a lock box account FBO the ownership entity. The lease sets forth where the rent payments are to be sent.

Most rents are ACH these days anyway. Hardly anyone of any size pays with checks.

And the tax return would tell them absolutely NONE of this.

The problem Shere, is not that the media coverage is mildly retarded, it's that the vast majority of the young public are imbecilic. Or, to use your descriptor FFR, Full Ffing Retard!

People our age refuse to grasp the complete inability to reason and think that the young people, who have been programmed to recognize a carefully taught answer, and to receive likes for agreeing, exhibit daily. For any kind of justice to exist you need more than a rabble. This is more like the rabble during the French Revolution than it is a free people called to think!

So as long as the basement dwelling zit faced warriors are called upon to think they will just keep shouting "Grup, grup, grup!" and demanding the old man who ran things so well to be condemned.

We are beyond an appeal to reason plain and simple! You can't reason with morons!

Trump's former colleague and disbarred lawyer, Michael Cohen, might be able to provide context with regard to Trump's tax documents. We will see. Considering Cohen's statements before all of this that Trump has said that the IRS is easy to fool and Trump himself has said he is brilliant at avoiding taxes. Again we will see. Outside of that a lot of questions are raised. How are the millions in payments to Ivanka Trump justified? One time payments made to individuals otherwise unassociated with Trump (hush money) and to whom. Why the complicated scenario with rent money? Why the extra effort it takes to do that? Surely we have to wait to see what happens. In the meanwhile we'll see what extra evidence Trumps tax documents provide related to this. How that support existing testimony/statements or doesn't. Whether others now come forward or don't.

He reads Salon and doesn't listen to people who could educate him. None of that stuff would be in the tax returns.

Its just to seek material to distort and use out of context to try to damage him politically in case he runs again.

You've assumed a lot of "facts" not in evidence there.

Just to help him - no where in a tax return is the payee of any expense listed. You can find who you got money from in some cases (partnerships, corps, interest, dividends, but not tenants), but to see who got money from Trump his returns would be of zero help. So again - why the focus on the tax returns except to fire up idiots?

What crime is Trump being charged with? If there is evidence of a crime related to his tax returns, AND he has been charged with a crime, then I have no issue aquiring his tax returns.

If the NY prosecutor is just fishing, then that's BS.
