Make up games
Is there a plan to attempt to make up any missing games if scheduled games go forward? We only have the weekends of 26-27 and 5-6 so I'm guessing midweek games are unlikely.

RE: Make up games
I don't see any make up games happening. But WAC had the WBB team play earl or mid week games to make up games but I don't think they will hold the MBB teams to those standards.

RE: Make up games
We should all agree that a 6-0 regular season record would certainly beat an 11-1 record. Don't know why I think that but it seems very obvious.

RE: Make up games
What about if both of the back to back games were cancelled, play one mid week? At least it would get some more games for the standings.

RE: Make up games
I’m wondering what happens in the NCAA tournament if a game has to be cancelled due to positive covid tests within a program. I can’t imagine it could be put off for two weeks. Would that team forfeit? Teams are going to have to be super careful.

The zero guidance from Hurd is not surprising in this matter.

Here is what we know about UTRGV

They have missed 10 WAC games if you count Chicago St

They have played 2 WAC games vs Dixie St

They have 4 more games vs UVU and TSU

Is UTRGV good enough to sweep UVU and TSU?

TSU probably, not certain of course. UVU scarier but within reach. We can't play sloppy like that Sunday DCC game but I'm guessing for TSU and UVU we'll be more focused.

Lol. Dude, with all due respect, but Los Vaaueros have played two, exactly TWO conference games. You'll be lucky to split with our young but tested Tarleton squad. Mark my words on that.

I don't think there should be a regular season champion (My Opinion) because not everyone is getting to play everyone twice and we also didn't play everyone at home. Whoever wins the WAC Tournament will be the WAC Champion in my eyes. It's the place where everyone will be playing in a neutral court. The only fair thing about the 2020-2021 WAC season. FYI, I don't think NMSU will win the WAC Tournament either.

Not our schools fault that NM would rather you guys take more risks and play in El Paso at a HS.

So I'd say depending on how much league games played are weighted 11-1 could very well be better than 6-0.

Also wouldn't it be cool if there was a blog that covered the WAC and would produce quality articles on the matters that meant the most to us on here?

I officially nominate you. Can you get a blog going before the conference tourney?

It can even be heavily GCU focused (this season) and we won't hold it against you03-wink I'll help cover the schools that don't have fans on here yet. They need the mentions and I enjoy keeping tabs on them.

I just hope we don't go 0-4 because it really feels like we're headed that way.

Wait, isn't there... Ah, nevermind. I don't want to be reported to the WAC "media" police again.

Which I completely agree with. Look, it's not perfect, but if a team has gone through their schedule with 1 loss, vs a team that has only gone through a fraction of their schedule, give me the team that played more games.

Just my .02, I suppose.

GO AGGIES!!!!
