FIFY
you have to win your bowl game (especially if its against another G5) for it to be a historically amazing season.
CCU had a great season though. No clue if it's indicative of anything long term. I guess it depends on how long Chadwell is there and if the NCAA starts sniffing around like at Charleston Southern.
I will dare say that part of CC's success was that that several teams expected them to be the bottom team in the league when they played them. All teams will be prepared for them this season, no surprises.

Basketball is the next BIG improvement needed for the conference. The SBC needs to be a multi bid conference. The SBC took a hit when NMSU, WKU, and others left. Teams seem to be improving but there is a long way to go.
Basketball will be just super. After all, we hired Keith Gill because he somehow was going to make the SBC much better? Having a $400K job with a nice expense account and do nothing expectations must be a great job. I don't expect to see a resignation from him any time soon.

Basketball will never be a big thing for the Belt. I don't see being more than a one-bid league.

He was the Executive Associate Commissioner of the A10. A very good olympic conference. The Presidents/Chancellors like what they saw. Why would he resign?

With the way the NET ratings work, you're probably right. CUSA just had their best season since realignment, and weren't even close to getting two bids.
The only possible way is if we have a team go 30-4 or something (like 2016 Little Rock), with a very high NET, and then they lose in the SBC Tourney.

And there will be some screaming for a one team tournament.
