Only when referring to something their daughter is wearing or doing.

You got it. That comment sounded like my daughter have a temper tantrum.
Again, conditioned to refuse any opinion or thought that deviates from your indoctrination. Harsh realities explained using a metaphor a child could understand wound you so deeply that your only way to respond is to equate fact, reason, and questioning of your indoctrination with a tantrum. It's easier for you to simply dismiss contradictory thought with a childish 'cute' and what you think is a witty comeback rather than deal with the possibility that your reasoning is incorrect.

I'll use your metaphor of daddy telling the kids to get out and make it on their own. That led to WW2. Every country working on their own and in charge of their own defense led to wars, lots of wars. Those wars lead to WW1 and ultimately WW2. After WW2, we took over as daddy and allowed other countries to gain prosperity by letting us manage their security. It worked well for us and them. Also, we've had fewer wars than in anytime in human history. The world is thriving. However, you guys want to mess with a good thing. It's better to have the grown kids living in the house under our control than out in the streets.

What's missing from your analysis is that the system you describe was setup to deal with the Cold War, which where the flaws come from. Without the security need, America get nothing from being the economic sink for the world's goods. As such, the global security needs have and will continue to dwindle as America refocuses its priorities.

Biden's direction that the Armed Forces should take into considerations the environmental costs of any military action or the new mission the CNO just laid out for the US Navy are a few examples. Those aren't the actions/statement of a military seriously committed it continuous global operations.

They don't have time to post because they are too busy taking one up the rear all the time now.

Not all of Europe hated Trump. The V4 nations (Slovakia, Hungary, Czechia, and Poland) generally were pretty warm to Trump.

Nor of a military seriously committed to keeping the west coast from speaking Chinese.

I don't really think that is a concern. China has a hard enough time keeping itself together and managing the South China Sea. They would just get NK to nuke the West Coast.

We still have security needs and that's where our alliances are our strength. America first means America alone.

Why is that only applicable to the US? The UK, JP, SK and many other nations can prioritize their security and economic needs and still forge alliances.

Demonstrably false.

NATO members paying their fair share = stronger alliance.
US energy independence = US drawdown in the ME and multiple peace treaties.
Southern border security = record low unemployment for American minorities.

I could go on.
