Max when he left talked about he can't wait to come back to DC for the reunions. I don't want his best memories to be with LA, and man if they won a couple WS with him and he chose to go into the Hall as a Dodger. Would kill me. Max is my favorite Nat of all time.

I think it's somewhat unlikely that he stays with LA after this season unless the Dodgers can figure out a way to get out of Bauer's contract. They are well over the luxury threshold as is. Even if the Dodgers win this year, I think he'll appreciate the team he spent 7 seasons with in the city he helped bring it's first WS in almost a century more than being a rent-a-player for the Dodgers.

If the Dukes do end up going to SBC, baseball is going to be going up against some really tough competition. I hope playing in the SBC raises the quality of Dukes baseball rather than cratering.

We will also be very behind some of the baseball facilities (CCU, ULL, Marshall, Southern Miss). However, I’m seeing smoke (all public info) that things might get moving on the softball stadium expansion. Really hoping that Chase DeLauter can spark some baseball interest this year

Well to be fair we really can't crater much further than we have already. It's been a decade since we made the NCAAs and really haven't even been close in that time.

I think playing these teams with some regularity should help with recruiting new areas. Should...who knows what will happen.
