Kenny Battle and crew was the last time I remember NIU being really good, he was awesome. I am confused though, you said his dad is Kenny Battle and his dad is Keion. Do you mean his brother is Keion?

Your memory is a bit cloudy: NIU record during Kenny’s time in DeKalb was 26-28.

TJ’s frosh/sophomore years in the field house (1994-96?) was 39-20and went to NCAA tournament. That was the last time Huskies were pretty damn good.

Molinari won 25 games in 1990–91. Most wins for the Huskies in a season since then was 2015 when Monty won 21 games

Kenny Battle was at the game on Saturday.

Kind of ironic that his son’s first home game was against Miami. Unfortunate that he did not get in. He wore #55, not his dad’s 33

I can't imagine that Battle is anywhere close to being ready to play in a game.

Well, Makuoi's issue may be injury while Battle's issue is that he hasn't played competitive basketball in over a year and had 1 D-1 offer (UIC) which he suspiciously turned down.

More likely UIC pulled the offer, Big Red.
