Are you inferring I created an alter ego? 03-lmfao Dude, don't be a putz. Lay off the bong.

Welcome to the club, BD! They like you already.

Thanks. I have no trouble talking smack especially when Final Four let his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird butt. This cat needs to realize the Texans had to scrape the Aggies off the bottom of their cleats before leaving the Sun Bowl. I mean really your haughty and you are an outpost of El Paso. Yes I’ve been to Las Cruces. Great Take on your version of Mexican food different from our Tex Mex. Love those Hatch Chilis

That being said, the Texans should be 5-0 this season. I put both losses squarely on the coaching staff. Whiten does a great job recruiting but he sometimes takes his foot off the gas pedal way to soon and it has came back to bite him more than once. You would think he would learn. I get the I don’t won’t to embarrass them but he also needs to realize it’s up to the other team to stop him. Unless your up by four TDS in the fourth don’t start your grind the clock game.

In the first Dixie State game, did Whitten fumble? Did he throw the interceptions? Did he commit 8 penalties?

Whitten is responsible for having the players ready to play. They weren’t. The penalties are a direct result of lack of discipline. Once again this falls on the HC. Look overall he has done an above average job at Tarleton. It would be nice if he could clean these areas up. Just saying. You can’t blow someone out one week and be lackluster the next. That comes from the top.

Yes sir I believe too. You must also believe in Sasquatch, Leprechauns, Unicorns UFOS and Pots of Gold at the bottom of the Rainbows. Better yet the game should be played in Fairytale land where we all know NM State would prevail. This is fun.

I actually hope this happens. As a first year FCS program, the more FBS ass whoopins we rack up, the better.

I hope Tarleton fans aren’t counting on a win against Sam Houston. NMSU would be a cupcake comparatively speaking if SaHSU’s game this past Saturday is any indication. The Bearcats destroyed a top 10 Nicholls team.

The rivalry was really for basketball. USU pretty much owned us in football. But we sure did get them in the Arizona Bowl in 2017. That's a game I'll never forget.

After Tarleton shellacking of Dixie State tonight, there is NO DOUBT they would drill the NM State Aggies again. Only fluke was Dixie beating TSU earlier this season. 05-stirthepot

Tarleton not a fluke. Dixie a fluke. First post ever. You ooze credibility...

03-yawn That is your only comeback first post credibility. Cmon man! That is as weak as your football program. Never mind the fact you shelled out over $150k to get your proverbial butts kicked up between your shoulder blades. FYI I have been around football for decades no Johnny Come Lately.

Now I believe you have credibility because you told us you do. Got it.

Talk all the FB trash talk you want. Many NMSU fans predicted a loss to TSU. NMSU is a basketball school. This has been mentioned ad nauseum. But you know that, right? No Johnny Come Lately...

I’m not. Right now, if I were to rank the six FCS WAC football schools for this fall, it might be

1. SHSU
2. Tarleton
3. SFA
4. Abilene
5. Dixie
6. Lamar

And I have a year to learn about SUU.

Someone on Twitter did a similar predicted ranking for next year’s WAC basketball. It had NMSU at 5th, which caused heads to explode.

Fair assessment, until we get our crack at Sam. I remember our last D2 season Tarleton thumped SFA in Nac, then the next week SFA went double OT @ SUU. I'd put them in the middle of the pack.

Other than predicting SHSU as the favorite, the rest is probably pretty much a toss up. Tarleton playing this spring against mostly lower division schools with a great bragging rights win over NMSU, but splitting with Dixie. SFA played last fall against a mix of FBS and FCS teams including an OT win against ACU. ACU played last fall against an overall tougher schedule than Tarleton's spring schedule appears to be, but only won one game. I don't know much history on Dixie but they split with Tarleton this spring and their schedule isn't nearly as tough as Lamar's spring schedule is. Lamar has a new coach and half of the team are freshmen that had not played a down of college football until they got drummed at then 9th ranked Nicholls. That loss was followed by a competitive game against a currently ranked UIW and then defeating McNeese in OT who earlier defeated Tarleton. I would not predict Lamar to be in the top two or three of the WAC members next fall but it is too early to say they will be at the bottom either. The outcome of this coming weeks game with SHSU may give some indication of what to expect out of Lamar come fall, but I wouldn't guarantee that. Lamar seems to have improved every week this spring. Also from a fall 2021 playoff stand point Tarleton is irrelevant.

Since when did credibility enter into any equation when talking smack? Should I reference almanacs and printed statistics for you? Not sure why you are so offended and got your panties all wadded up its not like you were the one talking trash.

I'm not interested in talking Basketball. I was an all district player in HS and really enjoyed playing basketball. But watching it doesn't do much for me unless I know someone personally on the court which is almost never. For crying out loud women play basketball.

Basketball as well as all other college sports are second class citizens to Football. Get your program up to snuff and watch the $$$ start flowing into your athletic coffers. Its done wonders for Tarleton. Until then if I were a fan of NM St football I would be as quiet as church mouse until I saw the program headed in the right direction. Taking a beat down from a D2 move up is not the right direction.

Sun Belt must have not thought much of your football program either as they shed it the first opportunity they got. Just saying
