DDJ 2-10 shooting is horrible. And the foul shooting on this team is not good.
Why did Eason play so little? I have no idea why Vogt starts over him and if we want this kid back next year he's got to see more minutes. This season is already a bust so I'm all about playing guys like Eason and Madsen more to build this team for next year.
Eason picked up 3 fouls in 8 minutes. He's just had a hard time staying on the floor lately. A lot of fouls and mistakes. Vogt was also really important on defense yesterday. What I did like was Eason had great body language on the bench and seemed really engaged.
Keith wasn't as efficient as you'd like him to be but that's not really what he is and he was the best I've ever seen him passing.
Still needs to get more than 8 mins. Got to keep Mama happy and there is no drop off from Vogt to Eason IMO

Maybe the more you get there the better you shoot...kind of like in rhythm
I haven't noticed a correlation with other teams to suggest that. Most likely it's just random luck. Though I have had a thought that because our guards give up too much penetration maybe part of it is we just foul better shooters. Though I still think it's more random luck than anything.
My guess from the eye test is we foul a large portion of the time on backcourt players who tend to be better ft shooters. Product of guards not keeping guys in front of them and teams knowing it. I've said it before, Vogt gets a lot of fouls on non front court guys going to the hoop. KW often gets the opposition's best scorer and we know his foul history.

Vogt has been better than Eason lately almost solely because he can stay on the court.

It's almost impossible to play him at the 5 right now as he picks up to many fouls. He's got a foul out in 7 minutes, 10 minutes, and had 3 in 8 minutes last night. They almost have to play him against a team without a 4. Unfortunately when we lost Rap it was another 5 fouls in the front court, but Vogt has been much better as of late, and they're getting him the ball with a chance to score or get a foul on someone. I think it's help his confidence. MD had some moments last night as that block was a beauty, but the jumper from the ft line under 5 minutes with 20 seconds left on the shot clock was a big old no no.

I don't know that he knew it and it's apparent that most of the fanbase didn't. But that was actually a good shot (at least if you ask most NBA coaches).
The exact time he took the shot is what makes it a good shot. He took it with about 45 seconds left in the half, which is about the perfect time to shoot in order to play two-for-one at the end of the half.
