X had TWO turnovers...
But...
Reece had 4
Kalu had 3
Curry had 3
And you are straight crickets....
We get it, you don’t like X.
Give it a rest
Green was in fire, and that makes up for a lot. But he made some poor decisions tonight. The charge and the two 5 second calls stand out. But a breakout game scoring.
Two turnovers... you’re crediting him with a TO that wasn’t his
The box score says he has 2 turnovers, but I saw 5.
1st half: double teamed, he threw a pass that was tipped and stolen by UAB.
1st half: double teamed, he failed to make a pass and was called for 5 seconds.
2nd half: offensive foul driving in the lane.
2nd half: a pass to Oliver sailed out of bounds.
2nd half: 5 second call on ball out of bounds after made basket.
All of those are turnovers that should have been charged to Green. I am honestly not sure which 3 they did not charge to him. Nonetheless, they were all poor decisions. A 5 second call is inexcusable if you have timeouts.
I still think he played a good game. For the most part he played in the flow and he chose good shots (he got lucky on the banked 3). He (and the team) played great defense. But I think the official scorer was too kind to him on the turnovers.
Edit: I have one correction. The errant pass to Oliver was actually ruled a 10 second violation, which means the turnover should be charged to the team.
