RE: MLB 2021 Thread
I'm shocked that bum Max Scherzer allowed that hit today.

Thought for sure he was going to do a performance that would never be topped-
immaculate inning
3000th strikeout
perfect game

So question- has he passed Clayton Kershaw now for pitcher of the generation?

Question RE: MLB 2021 Thread
This stat is so beautiful, it almost made me cry:

Quote:The Yankees were swept in 4 games by the Blue Jays & never had a lead.

It's the 1st time the Yanks never led in a 4+ game series since June 23-25, 1924, against the Washington Senators.

They played 1,250 series of 4+ games since then & led in every one. (h/t @eliassports)

https://twitter.com/ESPNStatsInfo/status...2810143745

Blue Jays finish four-game sweep in Yankee Stadium

It'd sure be fun to have AL WC teams be Blue Jays and Mariners this season.

RE: MLB 2021 Thread
NL Cy Young shaping up to be really interesting....
gambling odds right now.
Max Scherzer 5/4
Corbin Burnes 2/1
Walker Buehler 11/5
Zack Wheeler 12/1

the interesting part to me is schedules....
Burnes gets Cubs, Cards, @ Cards
Poor Buehler gets @ Reds, @ Rockies, and Padres
Max gets @ Reds, @ D'Backs and Padres

really think Burnes has huge advantage schedule wise there. Cincy is equal park factor to Colorado this year. Arizona isn't easy park at all either.

Padres are in deep trouble. They would lose this game 3-2. Only 6 games ahead of the Rockies right now-

RE: MLB 2021 Thread
so GWRBI for the Dodgers tonight is the ageless one, Albert Pujols. What a year he's had for the Dodgers. Such a weapon to have for the playoffs.

Hit #3300 and RBI #2150.
