I'd like to see all the seniors come back. The only person to my knowledge who addressed the subject is Pippen, and he said some time ago that this was his last year. Of course, he could change his mind.

I would completely understand if Pippen didn't come back. If I were him I wouldn't. He's only got so many years left on those knees. Go back some money. If he does come back he's got a very real chance at becoming our all time leading scorer and shot blocker (albeit with an asterisk).
I'm also very interested to see what happens with our guards. Gio and Jacobs have proven they're more than capable of being the primary PG on a D1 team, and doing it really well. Does the addition not Carry make one of them want to leave? I hope not.
It's easy to get excited over a lineup with Jacobs, Gio, Carry, Hernandez, and Nuga on the perimeter and Pippen, Hamilton, Beck, and O'Neal inside. But I'd guess we see a lot of movement this spring.

I'm not so sure about movement --- beyond Pippen.
Jacobs is pretty flexible 1-2-3. If Nuga returns he's a solid 2, but probably not until December. Gio and Carry will be a strong and diverse PG tandem. Hernandez (Mini-Mitch) will have to battle for backcourt minutes but so be it.
O'Neal, Beck and Hamilton are all good, but would all look a lot better with a solid 25-minute post-guy inside to round this team out. And remember, VCD will be a freshman again fighting for minutes. The only odd man out seems to be Bainbridge. But that's next year.
Still a lot to play for this season.
And haven't talked about the freshmen ... who in a perfect world would all redshirt. But that's a pipe dream. ... If the freshman post guy is a Gerwig-type freshman, that would be huge. But those kind of guys don't come down the road often.
