Wait until Republicans take the House back in the midterms...then it's open season on Democrats (figuratively speaking).

Meh, it won't happen. The Repubs only like to go on the defense never on the offense. The Demons know this that's why they are so savage and determined.

I'm hoping for a new breed of republican officials in 2022.

It seems like more and more local republican groups are seeing the light and are putting pressure on the state parties as well as on elected officials.

As long as they get the voting process cleared up we'll be fine.

A good place to start would be:
- return to previous mail-in policies
- ensure all ballots are checked for validity
- ensure close oversight of ballot check and count processes
- purge voter rolls of ineligible voters

I think you may be right - the only real problem is that it will take some time to really get new blood into these offices in meaningful numbers (totals). I live in a pretty democratic heavy area in the western part of Mass, and there is definitely momentum for more republican representation. Warren and Markey most specifically are going to have their hands full next time they are up - Markey has a fresh 6 years so he as fairly safe for a while, but he is much more vulnerable than Hiawatha.

Congress is s tougher nut to crack - for a Democratic heavy state, their policies have not bothered conservatives here that much, but more recently these crackpot policies are now starting to bother the right leaners and they are starting to speak up and push back.

Lex Luthor could be in some legitimate trouble next time around....
