Last MBB HC out please turn out the lights
Simple question: Who will still actually be coaching ACC MBB in 2025?

March 2021: Jim Christian fired
April 2021: Roy Williams retired
June 2021: Coach K to retire after next season.
January 2022: Chris Mack fired with 3y $12m remaining on contract.

I think people are not realizing you can vote for multiple coaches here. I find it hard to believe that there isn't any ACC coach that is getting more than 4 out of 22 votes in favor. It isn't who is most likely to be coaching in the ACC in five years.

My question about him is his age. Isn't he already 72?

I wish I could change my choices. Didnt realize Hamilton was that ancient.

I fully expect Jim Boeheim to coach until the day he doesn't get up.

I only voted for Bennett, Mack, and Young at VT. There likely will be more than 3 current coaches still around in 2025, but I bet it's less than 1/3 of current guys. A lot of top half guys will likely be retired or forced out, and some of the bottom half are likely to be fired.

The ACC has a great group of basketball head coaches. It’s amazing how long, experienced and old this group is. There’s going to be a lot of turnover...within some coveted positions...in the next few years.

The fallout starts from the list. BC is getting rid of Jim Christian according to reports.

Even before that news, someone actually thought Jim Christian was going to make it to 2025?

Next ACC head coach that needs to go: Jim Larrañaga. Miami's terrible this year! Any Georgia Tech fans who watched yesterday (I didn't) can tell you how bad Miami must be. And this will be three consecutive losing seasons overall, not just ACC. He's 71 years old. He's making Boeheim look like he's ... my age (47)!

I was going to post something similar. The next man up there is obviously Chris Caputo who has been talked about for high-major jobs. I have to think he’ll be taking over soon and it’s in writing.

Sad, but true. As good as Larrañaga used to be, he's clearly lost his touch.

I hope Mike Brey is out after this year. Grateful for what he has done but it is time.

Now that is a job I can see John Beilein taking. He is 68, which is six years younger than Coach K and eight years younger than Jimmy B. He could get his son in there as coach-in-waiting.

Not a bad move...but his son might be too toxic

Beilein Senior could be a good transition coach for Syracuse to.

He would be a good transition guy. His son I am iffy on though. What happened at Niagara?

All I can find out is he had back surgery and then quit a little bit later. It could have been health related.
