FCS Spring 2021 Playoff System (NCAA article)
The NCAA posted yesterday about how the FCS Spring 2021 playoffs will be structured. In a nutshell, the playoffs will consist of 16 teams this spring, not 24, with 11 auto-bids going to conference champions, and 5 at-large teams. Playoffs will be conducted from April 18 - May 15.

The article also has a good summary of how each FCS conference is handling the Spring season:

MEAC’s newly acquired autobid won’t be used this season. So it’s 10 auto and 6 at-large now.

So they’re bypassing the by-law where autobids can’t exceed at-larges. Either it’s a one year exemption or they’re changing the rule.
