Well, they'll have to issue refunds to any gold card holders that request it, as they sold those under false pretenses. Admission to ALL baseball games was part of the description. And they can't even claim virus protocells this time, because those were already an issue when they began selling this years Gold Cards.

Is there even proactive thinker on the Southside?

True, and if I have a Gold Card, am I confident I can walk up and get a ticket at Regions Field, or is it limited due to COVID. If limited, can I get my tickets ahead of time?

4 baseball games at Regions Field:
March 2 Alabama
March 9 Auburn
March 23 Samford
March 26 Middle Tenn

I was looking forward to getting out to more games than usual this year because I considered an outdoor baseball game a safe environment and a good way to help the program and cure the cooped up Covid blues. More games at Regions would have been an opportunity to have fans of UAB and general baseball which the crowd restrictions at Young Memorial greatly impede. Also could have made more money which I thought the athletic department was hurting for this year.

Barons are letting Fultondale high baseball use Regions Park for home opener. Really nice gesture. With no Barons AA games until late May there should be no conflict with UAB playing at Regions?
But it looks like more games at Young Memorial for UAB this season with only a few games at Regions. Still think UAB could draw good crowds at Regions if they promoted baseball or used Thirsty Thursday promotion for all home games. That also might improve perception for AAC in the future.

Just an observation on the ineffectuality of media relations and the overall decision making process. They are still fraudulently promoting Gold Card sales including ALL home baseball games.

Check this blurb from a women's soccer story on uabsport.com today:
Quote:Women's soccer season tickets are on sale by purchasing the 2020-21 Gold Card for $65 here. The Gold Card is an exclusive offer that grants you admission into all UAB men's and women's soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, baseball and softball events for the upcoming academic year. Contact the UAB Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1 for more details.

"Ineffectuality" is a good word to describe our media relations.
