I do kinda worry that some of these late season games might be cutting it close with a fall season. Games in Feb/March still give players ~6 months before their next game, but once you hit April or May you're looking at a 4 month turnaround.

Macomb, like much of Illinois, is in a 2-week stretch where the temperature maxes out at 25 degrees, so it’s safer for players and staff to delay practice until temps get above freezing.

RE: FCS Cancellation thread
The MVFC conference schedule built in one week for rescheduled games. Everyone has eight games followed by a bye week(April 17), followed by the playoffs. WIU & USD just used up their one freebee. We'll see how well things work going forward. Quite a few are amazed we've only lost one MVFC school(Indiana St). And we're still on track for a playoff, so fingers crossed. (I think we need to end the season with 64 schools that have each played at least four games.)

Yeah, I'm actually more surprised that this Spring season is apparently going forward than I was that the Fall season did. I have never seen any sense in this spring season, as it does run right up to the Fall season, which presumably these Spring conferences plan to start on time this Fall.

But I am curious, and plan to watch some games.

Alcorn St is out, but the rest of the SWAC is still in for the moment.
