I thought 2 real keys to winning the league again were Kamani and Markquis, the crown jewels of Darrell's first recruiting class. Now they are both gone. I also had been told that Alsean Evans was as talented as anyone on the team, but we have never really gotten to see him play. We certainly still have some talent. But, my honest assessment is that what we have left is "average" Sun Belt talent. Since there is clearly no dominant team this year, maybe that's enough. I guess we'll see in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

On the radio show Darrell indicated that CJ White has been working hard at the point. From what I have seen, Marco Andric has the making of a very solid point guard. We will be competitive, but we are not the same team that I expected to win the league early in the Fall.
