Coach lost the game for us playing the back up with 6:00 minutes to go

Tarleton was the better team.

I went to the game, my wife stayed home. Announcers said something to the effect that because of the Spring season, several players would complete their eligibility and could not play in the Fall. I don’t know about that, but we should have won that game going away!
I sure hope this isn’t just an exhibition season. Play to win always dang it!

Whitten wasn’t on the hands team nor was he available to make a tackle on Orgeron in the open field in 2OT. Recover the onside kick and run the clock out. Not sure why the backup was in when Duncan played so well.

It all started when he took his foot off the gas with the back up qb... so Whitten is at fault.

Whitten said backup QB won’t be back as he is out of semester eligibility so he wants to play him some this spring.

Not defending the decision just saying.

Up by 2 TDs with 5 min to go and a 3-0 timeout margin, but still lose in 2OT? That is all on Coach Whitten, and I'm sure he agrees. Tarleton was the better team by all measure, just got outcoached down the stretch. Easy correction is go full throttle and don't let up. I'd hate to be nmsu this weekend. Tarleton hasn't lost a regular season game in 2+ years. Somebody has to pay.
